MY HEALING JOURNEY
When I was 18 years old, I became pregnant with my son, Noah. Despite facing numerous challenges, I persevered to fulfill my role as his mother. The experience of entering motherhood at a young age was daunting yet filled me with anticipation to welcome my child into the world. Unfortunately, at 39 weeks of pregnancy, my son’s heartbeat ceased, and on February 13, 2017, I became the mother of an angel. This tragic event tested my faith as I grappled with profound grief and questioned the higher power countless times. Coping with such immense pain seemed insurmountable initially.
Each passing day has allowed me to gradually heal at my own pace, although the ache remains a constant presence. As time progresses, the pain may lessen but will never fully dissipate.
I am committed to honoring, treasuring, and forever commemorating my son’s life and the profound impact he had on mine until we reunite in eternity.

Through this journey, I have come to understand that the process of healing holds significant importance within the realm of grief.
Challenges arise that test one’s faith, friendships, and loyalty. The future may appear daunting, and relationships strained. Healing stands as the pivotal stage that shapes the course ahead.
With adequate support in place, the healing journey unfolds more smoothly, leading to the discovery of hope in the long run. My personal experience with healing has instilled a sense of optimism in me, allowing me to navigate life alongside my grief on a day-to-day basis. Grief does not adhere to a specific timeline; however, it is crucial to recognize that over time, hope, love, and joy can be rediscovered.
Not everyone will understand my journey. And that it's fine, it's not their journey to make sense of. It's mine.
